Which search engine results do you click on?

An article in Search Engine Journal states that “nearly 70% of U.S consumers said they look for a known retailer when deciding what search result to click on”.

Another finding – only 4% will click on a name they are not familiar with – even if it’s at the top of the page.

Do you click on businesses you’ve never heard of?

I don’t.

The conclusion is, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) does very little UNLESS you have great SOM (Share of Mind) or TOMA (Top of Mind Awareness). Digital mediums may be used closer to the actual purchases, so they sometimes get all the credit.  However, radio inspires and engages your consumer to create an emotional relationship to your business.

The take-away here is consumers need to know you, BEFORE they search. And I can help with that. I’m Pat Curtis with Titan Broadcasting and Digital Group. That’s The New Mix 107.3, KGRS,101.7 The Bull, KBKB-FM and Titan Digital Group. We can help potential customers search for you by name – not category. This way all they get is you – not the competition. That’s real internet gold.
